Claudia Cuador founded Cuador Law, P.A. in 2020. Ms. Cuador focuses on immigration, family, and probate law. Prior to starting the firm, Ms. Cuador practiced in the area of aviation law and represented major airlines in federal courts.
Background
Ms. Cuador graduated magna cum laude from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law in 2018, where she remained on the Dean’s List. Notably, Ms. Cuador earned five book awards for excellence in academics, particularly in legal research and writing and international law courses. She was also a senior member of the Nova Law Review, where her piece on facial recognition technology and invasion of privacy was chosen for publication in the Journal’s 41st volume. Ms. Cuador was also an active member in the school’s Moot Court Society, where she was a finalist in two internal competitions and also competed in The L. Edward Bryant, Jr. National Health Law Transactional Competition in Chicago, Illinois.
During her time at NSU, she completed internships at the Staff Attorney’s Office for the 17th Judicial Circuit, drafting orders for respective judges in civil and criminal matters, and in a renowned South Florida-based medical malpractice firm. Upon graduating, Ms. Cuador worked as an Associate Attorney and became familiar with federal practice and aviation law.
Prior to law school, Ms. Cuador received a full-ride scholarship to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Art History, with a minor in Hispanic Studies, and graduated with Distinction. During her undergraduate career, Ms. Cuador served as a Spanish teaching assistant and studied abroad at the University of Seville.
Born and raised in Cuba, Ms. Cuador is fluent in Spanish.
